Life, Experience and Transformation of the World in Miki Kiyoshi
A Translation of My Lecture at Doshisha University: Part 1

I recently gave a lecture at Doshisha University (Kyōto) at a symposium entitled “What Do We Call Life?” It was a discussion between philosophers from different backgrounds. The event was very pleasant and, at least from my point of view, interesting.
In three posts I would like to offer my paid subscribers an English translation of my talk. I have to restrict access to this text because a publication project is in the works.
I hope you will find it interesting. After these three posts, I will write another post about the difficulties and limitations that Miki’s philosophy presents on such topics. I hope you find it interesting.
I would also love to get some feedback from all of you. I am always looking for ways to improve.
