Last year, during the 2023 Online Symposium of the Network of Asian Environmental Philosophy, which I co-organised, Tekla Nanuashvili (a PhD student at Kyoto University) gave a talk entitled “Rethinking the discussions of enlightenment in plants and trees in Japanese Buddhism.”
